My sales journey began in 2008 during my engineering studies in India, driven by a personal need to support my education. I initiated B2B collaborations with hardware vendors, helping clients with network components and IT support. This early exposure taught me the value of relationship building, patience, and character—qualities that continue to shape my approach to sales and negotiations. It was this phase that cemented my interest in solving client problems and recognizing opportunities.
In 2010, I transitioned into the corporate world, starting with global projects at Florida Power & Light (US). Working closely with client teams, I sharpened my skills in stakeholder communication, requirement gathering, and delivering tailored business solutions adjacent skills. This journey led me to Pune and then Bangalore, where I supported international projects for Philips (Netherlands), facilitating smooth client onboarding and process optimization. Throughout these experiences, I mastered account management fundamentals—identifying client pain points, collaborating cross-functionally, and delivering solutions that added measurable value.
I expanded my international exposure by working with leading financial institutions such as Lloyds Banking Group, Bank of Scotland, and Mastercard, supporting Mortgage, Car Loan, and Dispute Resolution verticals from the assurance side of projects. This phase strengthened my ability to navigate complex client ecosystems, build trust, and manage high-stake communications. In 2016, I took on a leadership role as Lead Consultant at Volkswagen, Germany, spearheading end-to-end project support. My role often involved aligning cross-functional teams, understanding product-market fit, and driving business readiness assessments—core responsibilities that mirror strategic leadership in operations. After becoming a self-made millionaire through persistent learning and calculated risks, my investment journey has started. I invested in real state properties, and got a keen interest in it afterwards. I realigned my focus toward sales excellence and strategic business growth. In 2024, I formalized my sales acumen by completing the 'Gorilla Sales' program from Success Resources, equipping me with modern sales techniques like funnel building, objection handling, and closing strategies. Though I could not complete the IIFT International Sales & Marketing, and have dropped out from the program in 2016, this fueled my drive to gain practical exposure, leading to significant personal and professional growth while working & focused towards Project Management.
Throughout my career, while honing my skills in corporate environments, I have also contributed to my family-run business by driving sales and converting & closing leads for sales. This dual experience has equipped me with a well-rounded perspective on business operations and sales strategy.
